Jules Boules Bites Bar

The newest addition to the Dutch-based Jules Boules Bites Bar chain has opened in Rotterdam — the fifth branch of the themed restaurant chain combining dining, drinking, and a 12-lane indoor jeu de boules parcours. Its exclusively Amate Audio sound installation prominently features the company's G7 loudspeaker, a dedicated premium commercial audio design.

The challenge

What the venue needed.

In keeping with the venue's high-end interior design, the install required loudspeakers that could visually blend with the decor, paired with an audio strategy that prioritised higher signal output for tournament sessions in the jeu de boules zone while maintaining consistent audio performance throughout the bar and restaurant.

The system

What was deployed.

Audio for the bar and restaurant area is provided by 12 ultra-compact G7 loudspeaker cabinets in titanium colour scheme — matching the exposed metal work in the ceiling — and a pair of N12WP subs. A separate installation for the jeu de boules parcours comprises 12 Amate Audio Nítid series S6P 2-way, high-power-handling birch ply cabinets, with a pair of N18WP subs. Power is provided by a rack of seven Amate Audio HD-series amplifiers, totalling almost 13,000 W RMS. System control is managed with two LMS608 loudspeaker management processors.
